Elton in Nashville
Eagles of Death Metal's voice and piano playing were fantastic as expected. He is incredibly talented. The spotlight on him was behind him and blinding everyone in our section of the stadium. Never seen such a disastrous mess for an event of this size. It was awful. Elton's voice and piano playing were amazing as expected. Even worse was the nissan stadium logistics that caused a 2-hour long traffic jam, and we missed almost the entire 1st hour of the concert along with half the other patrons. People were furious! We could barely see a silhouette of Elton, so our only view of him was on the screens, like watching a video rather than a live performer. An officer directing traffic said he had been doing this for 3 years and never saw such a mismanaged event before. In summary, the lighting crew needs to plan better to ensure all attendees see the performer.
